ordered French onion soup. The broth was good but I probably had 3 pieces of onion in the soup. It is our favorite place but disappointing tonight.

Good food, a little pricey. Good crowd.

I'm going to give this a 5 star for fond childhood memories of a great place to take my kids and enjoy good home cooked type food with a salad bar. .fresh and delicious ...hot bread and great dinners. The chopped steak was fresh and gravy was like moms. The wait staff was charming and spot on. Please try this place if you haven't. They treat you like it used to be...fresh good food and friendly service. There are no salad bars anymore either and I miss them! Make this a stop for sure!

Lots of people recommended this place for good food, especially salad bar and fish. Every person in our party raved about their food. What could be so special about a salad bar ? Everything was fresh and tasted awesome. Would definatly go here again Prices are very reasonable.

Got to get there early or usually a long wait but once you get in it is delicious..Salad bar is the best, warm bread, and dinner always satisfying..Love going here except for the wait. Seriously get there right as soon as they start their dinner hour, or you will wait,it seems forever!!!

Great salad bar & food is always great every time we go. We have never been disappointed. Strip Steaks are melt in your mouth juicy & French onion soup is excellent.

Great food and choices of food dishes. Only downfall Tonite..it became a very noisy, loud crowd of people. Hard to converse with out of town family we brought for early dinner. Baked fish was absolutely delicious..great, courteous & efficient waitresses.

I wish, I wish I could give this place a glowing review. It's a nice, homey resturant with an all you can eat salad bar. My family members all went there for year but I decided to try something new - their chicken and biscuits. The portion is big, the biscuits delicious, but there were so few! And the broth tasted like a salt lick. The potatoes saved the day, tasting absolutely amazing, but this isn't a place I'll be going to again anytime soon.

I was there with my wife and my daughter-in-law and we would give it 5.0 points. The service was excellent and the food is something that seems to be worth more than it cost. It's not a fancy place but it's comfortable. It has a homey feel to it.

One of the BEST restaurants in the area. If you're looking for a high-quality, non-chain restaurant in the Batavia area, this is it. I recommend the prime rib, fish fry, Pat's way, and any of the daily specials. Meals come with salad bar. Go early though if you want to avoid a wait.

Had roast beef on weck. Food was great and waitress was even better. They have a nice salad bar. Been here many times.

Haven't been here in ages and we just went for mother's day, we are stuffed! We got the Sunday special. Ham, roast beef, chicken and biscuits, veggie, and salad bar (which is a meal in itself!) all for $14.95. Absolutely delicious! We all left happy, full, and tired! That was a lot of food. We will be back soon!

Go by here often on my way to and from birdwatching in the Alabama wetlands but never stopped in till today. Very homey, casual old fashioned atmosphere. Good food, American fare, chicken and biscuits were great, good onion rings... Friendly service too.

The cooks named Joe Barclay and Patrick newton were extremely helpful and amazing cooks , they made the experience everything ! WILL RETURN!

Their food is super yummy, and decently priced. If you are lucky enough to get the salad bar when they bring fresh bread out, you are in for a treat! Mind you, the bread is always really good, but fresh from the oven is best.

This place is a local historical landmark I couldn’t even begin to tell you how great the food is here you just got to try it for yourself check out the menu on their Facebook page there is a bit of a wait but they have a bar if you would like to have a drink while you wait their salad bar is phenomenal as is the menu and the people in owners are great and friendly and fast

It took over 45 minutes to get our food. And it was cold. Never again will we go there. It was awful.

One of my favorite local places. The regulars are a riot and the food is very good! Not a fan of fish but I hear that it is worth the long wait to get a table. I love chicken fingers with swamp sauce.
